The Boat House is a 5 minute drive from Shearwater Village and Port Sorell which is home to Woolworths, Amcal Pharmacy, Bakeries, GP Clinic, hairdresser, and other shops. Limited take-away food options are available. Many more culinary options are available in the City of Devonport and the town of Latrobe, both of which are only a 20-minute drive.
The History
The Boat House was built in 2019. It stands on a property that has been owned by generations of the host family for nearly 100 years. The site has offered rest and rejuvenation for the soul throughout its history.
